Multi- Family Structure Fire

In the early evening hours of June 2, 2020 units were dispatched to Woodhill Court for a possible structure fire. Original reports from the 911 call stated smoke in the building and a "popping" noise in the walls. Chief 525 arrived on scene and reported a working fire in a 2 story multi - family building with smoke showing from 2 roof eves. First arriving units found heavy smoke in the attic with minimal fire. Due to the location of the actual fire and the conditions on arrival Chief 525 requested an "upgrade", this sent two additional engine companies to the scene. One engine from Edgewood Fire Dept., and one engine from Erlanger Fire & EMS. The origin of the fire was determined to be in the walls of a unit on the ground floor, with smoke damage in two living units. The cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time. No injuries were reported at the time of incident. The Crescent Springs/ Villa Hills Fire Department would like to thank our mutual aid partners from Fort Mitchell, Edgewood, and Erlanger Fire Departments for their continued support. Maintaining good working relationships with our neighbors is important to ensure that there is continuously an appropriate amount of staff and equipment at each incident that requires additional support! Thank You ALL!
